Community Meeting: Discuss the Draft Route Options

Join Albemarle County and the project team for a Public Meeting for the Three Notched Trail Shared-Use Path Master Plan. The meeting will share multiple draft route options for the proposed 24-mile shared-use trail in western Albemarle County, connecting Charlottesville to the Blue Ridge Tunnel.
This event will include a presentation at 6:15 pm, followed by multiple map stations where community members can:
- Explore route options
- Ask questions and share feedback
- Help refine the trail’s preferred route and priorities
This is a planning-only effort. No land will be purchased, or construction initiated, at this stage.
Families, neighbors, property owners, and trail users of all kinds are encouraged to attend. Help shape the future of outdoor recreation, mobility, and connection in Albemarle County.
Three Notched Trail (3NT) Master Plan: Kickoff & Community Open House

Join Albemarle County and the project team for the first Community Open House for the Three Notched Trail Shared Use Path Master Plan, a two-year planning initiative to envision a 24-mile shared-use trail connecting Charlottesville to the Blue Ridge Tunnel.
This event will include a brief presentation at 6:15 pm, followed by interactive stations where community members can:
- Learn more about the project and timeline
- Explore maps and share your local knowledge
- Voice ideas, needs, and concerns
- Help shape the trail’s route and priorities
