Community Meeting on October 26th

Join Us for the 3NT Community Open House on October 26th!

Albemarle County invites residents and community members to attend a Community Open House for the Three Notched Trail (3NT) Shared Use Path Master Plan.

Albemarle County and its planning partners have been working diligently to research potential trail routes and collect public feedback. Come see the County's proposed route for the 3NT and share feedback on which sections should be designed first.

The open house will have a presentation starting at 6:45pm, detailing the planning process and route development to date. If you are unable to attend the meeting, all information will be available online starting on Tuesday, October 27th.

Please note that this project is in the corridor planning stage only. Albemarle County is not currently requesting property commitments from landowners at this time. The full 24-mile trail would not be designed or built as a single project. Instead, shorter segments would likely be advanced to design and construction over time as funding becomes available. As a result, the exact trail location may not be determined for several years.
